High Thumb Nuts are designed to be tightened by hand, negating the use of tools. These eners feature a large knurled head, which is easily tightened using your thumb and index finger. This is known as the thin or low type and is designed tighten down easily.
Thumb Nuts can be used alongside our Carbolts Knurled Thumb Screws, we stock a standard type thumb screw - DIN 464 and a ‘exclusive to Carbolts’ Thumb Screw made on our in-house sliding head lathe.
Material: A1 Stainless Steel
Low Thumb Nuts are available in Metric sizes of between M3 and M10 as standard, other bespoke sizes can be manufactured on request - to your specification. We manufacture these using our in-house sliding head lathe.
