Quantum Q30 knives feature a 66 layer damascus blade around a core manufactured with super premium VG-10 steel to create an extremely hard cutting edge with 60HRC minimum hardness. This process provides the ideal combination of hardness, flexibility & corrosion resistance. The blade is ground to the classic convex "Hamaguriba" taper profile.
