Our marine grade snap ener kits are great for doing small repair jobs. With the heavier type tool it flares the caps near perfectly against the sockets.
You get a complete set of eners to connect canvas todeck

Press snap ener terminology
The cap and socket are crimped together using the closing tools. Then they are ready to connect to a stud. The stud can be screwed to the deck or attached to another piece of canvas using a post. The same tool kit will crimp the stud and post together.
If you are fitting multiple snaps eners I would highly recommend buying the hoover press n snap tool. Saves a lot of time and covers can be fitted in situ.
