For smaller batteries like Series 16 and those used in jet skis, power lawn and garden equipment.
Battery boxes meet ABYC Standard E-10 and US Coast Guard Specification Number 183.420 as an OEM- installed battery hold-down system.
Polypropylene construction for total acid resistance. Hold-down straps resist 350 pounds of force, nearly four times the USCG requirements.
Battery boxes are drop tested in temperatures ranging from -30 C to +55 C.Mounting hardware and strapincluded Internal: 205mm (L) x 135mm (W) x 155mm (H). Additional 30mm (approx) headroom for connectors and cables. External: 260mm (L) x 180mm (W) x 210 (H) The battery heightmay be more as there is more room in thelid which may take the terminals but this cannot be guaranteed, depending on battery design or layout.
