About this product :
A very special independently bottled Ardbeg by the experts at Signatory Vintage. Distilled in 1991, this spirit was made under the ownership of Allied Distillers who purchased Ardbeg after its sad mothballing in the 1980s. The early 1990s was also tumultuous with scarce production taking place until Glenmorangie purchased the distillery and revived it in 1997.
This bottling was chosen by Andrew Symington after 33 years maturation in a first-fill Oloroso sherry butt.
