These organic essential oils from Ancient Wisdom are sourced from primary suppliers and rigorously tested for purity and potency. Each oil is extracted from plants grown without synthetic pesticides, fertilisers, or chemicals — so what you get in the bottle is exactly what it says on the label. Use them in a diffuser or oil burner, add a few drops to a warm bath, blend with a carrier oil for massage, or simply inhale directly from the bottle for an instant mood shift. Available in 11 individual varieties or as a curated Set of 6 Assorted oils — a brilliant way to explore the range.
The classic. Soft, floral, and universally calming — lavender is the go-to oil for winding down at the end of the day. A few drops in a diffuser before bed, or blended with a carrier oil and massaged into the shoulders, and the difference is immediate. Equally lovely added to a warm bath. One of the most versatile oils in any collection and a brilliant starting point for anyone to aromatherapy.
Sharp, medicinal, and powerfully cleansing. Tea tree has a distinctive camphor-like freshness that cuts through stuffiness and makes any space feel instantly cleaner. Traditionally associated with purifying properties, it works brilliantly in a diffuser when the household is under the weather, or blended for use in homemade cleaning sprays and skin preparations. A hardworking oil with a loyal following.
Crisp, cool, and deeply invigorating. Eucalyptus has that instantly recognisable cold-and-clear scent that opens up the airways and sharpens the mind. Brilliant in a diffuser first thing in the morning, or added to a bowl of hot water for a steam inhalation. Also works beautifully blended with lavender for a cooling massage oil after exercise. A staple in any home aromatherapy kit.
Bright, bracing, and energising. Peppermint is the oil to reach for when you need a mental reset — a few drops in a diffuser and the room feels sharper and more alert immediately. Also brilliant blended with a carrier oil for a cooling head or temple massage, or added to a foot soak after a long day. The scent is clean, intense, and unmistakable.
Fresh, citrusy, and uplifting with a warm, slightly earthy undertone. Lemongrass has a bright, zesty character that works brilliantly in a diffuser to lift the mood and freshen a room. A choice for yoga and meditation spaces, it brings a clean, grounding energy without being heavy. Also commonly used blended with carrier oils for uplifting massage.
Sharp, lemony, and unmistakably fresh. Citronella has a bold, clean citrus scent that's equally at home in a diffuser as it is in outdoor settings. Well known for its use in candles and diffuser blends to freshen indoor and outdoor spaces. The scent is lively and invigorating — a great option for anyone who loves a clean, citrus-forward fragrance profile.
Floral, rosy, and beautifully complex. Geranium is a more sophisticated choice — its scent sits somewhere between rose and mint, with a soft green freshness beneath the florals. Wonderful in a diffuser for creating a calm, balanced atmosphere, or blended into a carrier oil for a luxurious floral massage blend. A favourite with those who find pure rose oils too heavy.
Even richer and more rosy than standard geranium, with a deeper floral intensity and a soft, powdery sweetness. Rose geranium has a genuinely luxurious character — one of the most beautiful florals in the range. Use sparingly in a diffuser for an indulgent, spa-like atmosphere, or blend with lavender and a carrier oil for an exceptionally calming massage oil.
Warm, herbal, and a little earthy — clary sage has a distinctive character that sets it apart from the lighter oils in the range. It has a rich, slightly nutty depth that blends beautifully with lavender, geranium, and citrus oils. Used in aromatherapy for its grounding, clarifying qualities. A more complex choice for those who want something beyond the everyday florals and citruses.
Bright, citrusy, and elegantly floral — bergamot is the oil that gives Earl Grey tea its distinctive character, and it's just as beautiful in a diffuser. It has a uplifting freshness with a soft, slightly sweet floral depth that makes it genuinely easy to live with all day. Brilliant on its own or blended with lavender for a classic, calming combination. One of the most oils in aromatherapy for good reason.
Warm, spicy, and grounding. Ginger essential oil has a rich, earthy warmth that's quite different from the fresh zing of culinary ginger — it's deeper and more resinous, with a comforting, woody quality. Brilliant blended with carrier oils for a warming massage, particularly on tired muscles and joints. Also works beautifully in a diffuser in the winter months for a cosy, spiced atmosphere.
Can't decide? The Set of 6 Assorted is the perfect way to explore the range — six oils curated by Ancient Wisdom for variety and balance. A genuinely thoughtful gift for anyone interested in aromatherapy, or a great way to build out a home diffuser collection without committing to single bottles. The set is presented ready to gift.
