Black Stainless Steel Pozi Countersunk Chipboard Screws from Carbolts\ Our fully threaded Pozi countersunk chipboard screws are manufactured using A2 grade stainless steel (304) and finished with our fantastic Carbolts CB10 black oxide process. The CB10 process delivers a permanent, black corrosion-resistant screw that looks as good on day one as it does after years of service. No chipping or flaking, just a clean, deep black finish that holds its appearance for the long term.
Engineered for timber, designed to look the part The thread is specifically optimised for particleboard, chipboard and softwoods — biting in cleanly without splitting the material, and holding firm without the need for a pilot hole 'in most applications'. The countersunk head sits flush with or just below the surface once driven in, leaving a neat, unobtrusive finish with no proud head to catch or snag.
Driven with a Pozi screwdriver or Pozi bit in a drill or impact driver, these screws are to install and straightforward to use - making them ideal for both professional trades and DIY applications where speed and appearance both matter.
Our CB10 black stainless chipboard screws are especially for premium kitchen fitting, bedroom furniture assembly, black-finish shelving, architectural joinery and interior fit-out work - where the fixing itself contributes to the overall aesthetic.
