This highest quality bone china mug will last much longer than the majority of mugs found out there as it is made for me by a specialist manufacturer using the traditional decoration process of firing the design into the glaze at temperatures of up to 400 degrees in a Kiln. This means that the design is impervious to the degrading effects of dishwasher use that result in er mugs losing their design after a year or two. Also, as it is bone china it is STRONGER & less prone to chipping than er earthenware mugs as well as being much LIGHTER = THE BEST OF BOTH WORLDS!
